| Chennai Chennai the new Tech hub. Humid weather. The Masala dosas and smell of sambar in the air. Nariyal Pani. The Marina beach. The sweet smell of Jasmine garlands. The AIADMK and the Almighty JAYA. Shivaji Ganeshan and Kamal Hassan. Temples built for heroines and self-immolation bid for not getting ticket in a theater screening a Rajnikant movie. The Natural Icecreams. The temples. But what about the roads and traffic condition here? Discuss and share. |

law enforcement
india is one of the country recorded high accident rate and resultant injuries including death.Almost all the states have ther on contributon to achieve this status.Around 1 lakh of the population is dead on indian roads.Maharastra ,kerala, tamilnadu occupies first three place in accident scenario.WHO has taken initiative to curtail the rate of accident in india. My question is whether the existing laws in indai are sufficent enough to give dinminishing effect in india?

Sanjay...both law and its implementation in India is not as strict as it should be. Publishing reports and stats regarding to road accidents in India should not be the only responsibility of government but enforcing some road safety related activities should be in the priority work list of government.
While driving we should always remember that how our as well as other’s life is valuable.

I think laws are well capable but the govt. servant like police is incapable to implement the law sucessfully & because of this we the road users not like to obey our laws.
