Recently I lost my helmets, yes, helmets, no typo the details you can see in my ibibo blog(http://blogs.ibibo.com/puyal). The first time I went to a helmet shop opposite to Church park convent I got one named Ozone with ISI mark. I just felt it a snug fit and light and had no problems with it for the five days it was with me! So when I had to buy a second time I went to a reputed dealer on GP road and asked for white Studds helmet. He had one but I felt it a bit loose but went ahead and bought it 'cos it was white. I bought it in the evening on the way to my office and that night I had neck pain. Figuring that the helmet was the culprit I went to the shop next day but the dealer refused on the ground that it was used though only three times. So I found a friend in search of a new helmet and with a bigger head and stronger neck to pass this helmet and again went to the same shop to buy a new one. Now I own a Safe helmet. What that dealer said was that the Studds interior design is old and unchanged for the past 20 years and the model I selected 'RB2' is known for the kind of problem I had. Also he said that it is better to go for fiberglass shell mould which is light and strong than plastic moulds. Anyways because of my carelessness there are two riders in Chennai with helmets on their heads, or at least I hope so
