| Delhi The capital, seat of political power, the satta game! Republic and Independence day parades. Golgappes. Punjabi Dhaba khana! Chandni Chowk, 10 Janpath! Cheap affordable housing. HOT SCORCHING summers, COLD CHILLING winters. Pollution. Not very friendly neighbors, Chai in earthern pots! Ambassadors (cars here!). Black Cats! Sonia Gandhi! Road Rage, Traffic Jams, but how good is the traffic sense here? |

I traveled towards my office from Delhi (Laxmi Nagar) To Gurgaon daily and face heavy traffic jam on 2 places only because of potholes.
The first one is DND Toll Bridge from ISBT Kale Khan to Maharani Bagh the potholes are on the sharp curve towards Maharani Bagh therefore vehicles are forced to move very slow and it is creating lots of pain for travelers during peak hours. Sometimes heavy vehicles like trucks, containers etc suffered more than others due to these potholes because axels of these vehicles break here occasionally and creates long traffic jam. Second one is Gurgaon to Mehrauli road near Chatarpur temple the road is full of potholes and vehicles move here very slowly (like ant) than their general speed and heavy traffic chaos creates in the evening. I am very surprised that both spots are on the very important location but our respective authorities not taking care on this. |

Driving on bad roads (having Puddles, Potholes) doesn't mean only jerks and bumps...It means additional costs like vehicle maintenance and fuel consumption and many more...What do you think???
