Pedestrians skip ITO overbridge
There are not many takers for the overbridge which was inaugurated at ITO earlier this month.
Pedestrians have already started complaining that the temporary steps are difficult to climb. Though decked with mari flowers and “welcome” banners, the escalators have not yet been built. Pedestrians say they prefer to cross the road braving the heavy traffic rather than use the bridge. Meanwhile, the Vikas Marg railing has developed a gap which makes it easier for pedestrains to simply cross the road and not use the overbridge. Text From Here |
