Any updates on the High capacity bus corridors??

• Length of high capacity bus corridor: 14.2 km
• Land required for compensatory afforestation: 19 acres
• Project cost: Rs 150.15 crore
• Environmental cost: 1,300 trees

The contractor has already started felling trees on the 14.2-km corridor from Ambedkar Nagar to Delhi Gate. However, this speed in implementation is strangely not shown on the environmental aspect of the project. Whenever an infrastructure development project is conceptualised, an environment impact assessment is done. This involves how many trees would be chopped to make way for the project or if there would be noise pollution during construction.
