Fines crossed Rs 1 crore Pay dirt: The amount collected in fines crossed Rs 1 crore on Thursday as the drive against traffic violators entered its fourth day. A sum of RS 1.19 crore was collected till 2 p.m. 26,196 violators have been prosecuted, 5,403 licences punched and 1,272 cars impounded. ![]() Motorists behave: The minimum fine of Rs 600 for a traffic violation seems to be acting as a deterrent."Motorists are making an effort to be more disciplined.
