Hello,
I am a college student who is currently writing a paper about transportation in India and I'm looking for opinions of Indian car users. I would appreciate it if you shared your opinion on the following questions:

- What’s your perception of cars in general?
- Do you own a car and if yes, how often do you use it?
- If yes, how much per month are you spending on your own car (including insurance, petrol, etc.)?
- If no, do you plan to buy one? Why?

- How do you usually get to work/university etc.?
- What are the main traffic issues you experience regularly? Do you have suggestions how they could be improved?
- Which regions in India do you think have the most transportation problems?


In my opinion, "carsharing", an innovative concept where you can rent cars for short periods of time and just pick them up at distributed parking lots could help to solve some of these problems.
- Do you think carsharing would improve India's traffic situation?
- Would you personally use carsharing in India if it would be available?
- Do you think that the Indian infrastructure (roads, parking spaces to leave cars) are well enough developed to use carsharing?
- Do you have friends who already use carsharing? If yes, what is their opinion about it?
- How much would you be willing to spend per month if you could use carsharing instead of owning your own car?

See in my opinion for Indian roads and Indian traffic small cars are perfect like maruti swift, skoda fabia, wagon-r, alto, EON etc and if you see the past figures then you will find that small cars are more in demand and are perfect for traffic and driving.
