Smile Vehicles hierarchy on Indian Road

Vehicles hierarchy on Indian Road

From Top (With High priority) to Bottom (With Low priority) while overtaking...

Trucks/Buses
Mini Buses
Jeeps/Cars
Motorcycle
Scooter
Scooty/Other light 2 wheeler for females
Cycles
Pedestrians

Note: Always remember about size of vehicle in India while trying to overtake forget about lane driving...Trucks and Buses have lots of accidents with each other because they have not yet worked out who is top dog.

Driving in India is actually very easy. You need three things - a working horn (if possible fit a triple air compression truck version and then they think you are a truck pullingh up behind), car control and a knowledge of your place in the pecking order.

What about Cows and other stray animals because they are also routine road users in India. They can sit and stop any where on the road & they have the power to block the moving traffic.

I think every one road cause traffic jam in our country simply because no one follow lane rule it doesn’t matter whether it is three/four wheeler or bus. Bikers are not far behind from others. Every one tries to cross road cross section ASAP.
