TAXED OUT: Duty on Car Imports in India

There is no point in outing 100% taxes on cars. The Indian government should change this policy. In Australia and the USA, the Lexus and Beemer are easy to find as the 800 or Santro.

The government should also cut down taxes on hybrids because Toyota has a very nice hybrid called Prius and Nissan has the Altima. Abroad, many people drive hybrids.

According to me its a right decision if you are importing a one crore rupee car in India then you can also pay one crore as tax.Now in India there is a new trend popularizing which is of buying car accessories online.If we buy auto parts online,it gives us more variety and branded auto parts which we can't get in our homeland.And its also a good deal for those guys who lives in remote areas.Their stuff can be directly send to their address.Many companies gives auto parts in packages also like silver package in which they give heavy discount to you.So,Its a complete profit gaining business for buyers.
