I think it is high time we have a nation wide drive of teaching how to behave on roads. This becomes even more important in contemporary India when more and more are taking to personal vehicles. Driving license lessons must include training in road-manners. If you are at a railway crossing, you know what I mean. Cars, trucks and scooters flock at the gate on both sides, blocking the opposite direction and this actually resuts in slow movement or traffic jam. If we learn to drive with decency, we sure can have pleasant driving.

Not even our traffic cops know the rules
For Example...when cars reach a roundabout...who has right of way???? No one in India knows!!! The answer is the car that is on the roundabout. IN OTHER WORDS TRAFFIC ON ONE'S RIGHT, MUST BE GIVEN RIGHT OF WAY. Ask a traffic cop...he won't know!! hehehehe

I appreciate your concern over this social issue. The problem lies in the traffic sense of people. And the second reason is the number of four wheelers are increasing continuously but the roads are not widening in contrast to them .In the Delhi auto expo so many huge sizes MPV and SUV's are launched.Nobody cares about the road.Just take an example of Chevrolet Captiva which is so huge in size.People prefers these type of cars in present time.
