need to change our attitude

Why road traffic in Indian cities is not good?

Is it due to lack of roads, flyovers?
Is it due to lack of traffic management facilities like traffic lights, traffic cops etc ?
Is it due to rapid increase in vehicular population?

The answer above question and its supporting reasons is simply “NO”

The only answer of above question is:

It is due to not obeying traffic rules.

Can we go to the core cause of the problem (not obeying traffic rules)?

How someone can have the courage or imagine of breaking the traffic rules in our country?

What attempts can be done to make everybody respect the system?

Our actual attitude on breaking traffic rules is yaar chalane do , ye india hai aur yahan sab chalta hai.

No , Instead of blaming others we should start it from our self. If one person a day will start following the rules. Tommorow more will do. Finally its a chain reaction.

We need to change our attitude. Rome was not built in a day.

Yes there is a need to change our mentality about road manners. To stop at the red lights, bearing helmets, tighten seat belts etc are common sense. You can’t expect that there will be a traffic cop at every traffic signal to keep watch on people.

Well!! if we follow traffic rules and regulations then there is no problem with traffic...It's not a difficult thing...If you follow traffic rules then think same for others...

Lack of civic sense.

Here both educated and illiterate road users use the road in same manner for e.g. breaking traffic rules, driving rashly and many more.

But why Indians behave most admirably everywhere else means outside the India?

How does good civic sense suddenly prevail in foreign countries?

How come "bad" ingrained traits suddenly disappear?

That means people know what constitutes good civic sense and act accordingly.
