While browsing i found an interesting fact on this track http://blogs.sun.com/melinchina/entr...oes_one_pass_a.
In spite of the fact that China does not need one more driver clogging up the roads, I am studying to get my Chinese driver's license. There's an English translation for the study book and also for the test. I've driven in the U.S. for 20 years without a single accident or moving violation, so I figured I was ready for the Chinese driver's license written test. I was not prepared for questions like these though: Q: Passing a line of cattle-drawn carts, a driver should observe the width of _____ and the distance of oncoming vehicles. If there is enough space left, it can pass. A. the cattle cart B. his own vehicle C. the road The correct answer is "C". If you're like me you were longing for an "all of the above" option but it just isn't there. Next question. Q: In order to avoid accidents while driving at night in the summer, a driver should be aware of ____ on embankments and bridges taking advantage of the cool night air. A. vehicles B. pedestrians c. various stuff The correct answer is "B". Don't be distracted by various stuff that might be out taking advantage of the night air. Q: When a bicycle rider tries to grasp a moving vehicle the driver should: A. accelerate to get away from him. B. stop quickly. C. stop smoothly The correct answer is "C".
