Video 12: Speed limits, stopping distances and the two seconds rule
Driving in India is indisciplined. Over and above this, lack of training and information means no one is aware of speed limits, stopping distances and the rather useful 2 seconds rule. This video makes this vital information available to all drivers. The video also covers the dangers of Tailgating.

Very Nice Video!!! Was wondering about the "Two Seconds' rule"!!!
though. My brain recalls to the day when we were told about 3 seconds rule. So, am a little confused, which one to opt for. I have come across many articles about 3 seconds rule earlier. .Anyone helping me out here...!!! ??? !!! |

The 2 second rule is followed in the UK. The 3 second rule is recommended in the US.
Given that momentum = mass x velocity and that Americans drive much larger cars (and also the fact that larger cars need longer to stop) it may make sense for Americans to follow a 3 second rule. But the minimum expectation should be 2 seconds (this is also advocated by the Chandigad Traffic Police website). Adhiraj |

Nice one
Not many videos offer education, this one and a few others seem unique.
