Bangalore
The garden city, set dosa, the largest population Kannada speaking Tamils, Malleshwaram, MG, Kemp Fort, Software, no water, pubs, Vidhan Soudha, Vivesvaraya, spanking clean, sweet, relaxed, greatest weather. Techies who know the right rules to flirt. Silicon valley of India. But how MNCs, outsourcing and corporate culture is shaping the infrastructure of the city?

Question Why cab drivers drive too fast?

Generally traffic authorities and people blame Cab Drivers of Call Centers and IT companies for their reckless driving and consider their driver as a major cause in road accidents but just think over it that why they choose to drive recklessly, below are the few problems related to Cab Drivers:

"Most drivers say that there are lots of problem we face because of traffic. We get about 5-10 minutes between pick ups but it always takes longer. We don't reach the call centre on time and employees face a problem as well."

"The average driver puts in anything between 15-18 hours which is not only dangerous but also illegal."

"The cab providers are fined for what are considered violations --anything from cabs arriving even 10 minutes late to drivers arriving not properly shaven."

"They don't have the sufficient time to use the toilets and to eat. Most call centers do not provide drinking water, toilets or parking lots to the drivers thereby increasing the overall stress levels and risk to human life."

According to me Cab Providers and Companies using cabs should think seriously about driver's problem after all they are also human beings.

Your comments plz....

Sounds hollow!! it depends on man to man...be regular (according to schedule) for drivers as well as employees.
