The garden city, set dosa, the largest population Kannada speaking Tamils, Malleshwaram, MG, Kemp Fort, Software, no water, pubs, Vidhan Soudha, Vivesvaraya, spanking clean, sweet, relaxed, greatest weather. Techies who know the right rules to flirt. Silicon valley of India. But how MNCs, outsourcing and corporate culture is shaping the infrastructure of the city?

Yes the behavior of auto drivers & taxi drivers in metro cities of India can’t say well. If you want to hire their vehicles on fixed price then they always try to extract as much money as they can from passenger’s pocket and especially newcomers in metro cities suffer lot from this. On the other hand if you hire auto or taxi according to fare meter than they always will commute by long route so they can charge maximum from you.

Agreeing that several auto drivers behaved rudely...Reckless and aggressive driving and boldness of road rules are the curse among auto drivers. However, changing the mindset of the entire lot of auto-rickshaw drivers in a short span of time is difficult.

auto drivers

Hello , I had an instance in bangalore where an auto driver refused to carry me because it was too close. I took his number and complained to the police. He was fined on the spot and was forced to carry me to my destination. It is time to start harassing the Police to enforce the law. Also, very important is to take the number of the Policeman you are lodgiing the complaint with. He is responsible to do his job right. Your tax pays his wages. I suggest you file a complant against the auto driver for stealing your helmet and assault. Hope this helps.

KA02B6757 - regarding your helmet

Go to the police nearby and lodge a complaint and trace that bugger. Don't allow such people to grow more.

I checked for his address in RTO Records and only this much address is available.

it is

SRI.A.R. VIJAYAKUMAR.
13th cross,
A.D.Halli,
Bangalore - 560079.

Even this RTO People doesn't contain full address of the vehicle owners as they will register them after having the bribes.

Yes, it is important to report those taxi drivers and auto drivers who misbehave or overcharge. Many of us do not take the time or the effort to do this and these people just take advantage of this knowing fully well that most of us will not report it.
