The infotech boom that Bangalore witnessed has made it India's Silicon Valley, but this high profile tag has come at a very high cost. The boom has brought with it acute chaos on the roads making commuting a nightmare, and life in general miserable for those who work with hi-tech global companies in and around the city.

So what is increasingly missing in Bangalore as it fights to retain its 'India' s Silicon Valley' tag?

Good roads.

A few years ago, it took only 20 minutes to reach the Electronic City, on the outskirts of Bangalore, where campuses of leading technology behemoths like Infosys and Wipro are located.

State Government should consider the road maintenance work at higher priority level b'coz the population and vehicles in Bangalore are increasing every day, which cause the heavy traffic on city's roads. Sometimes heavy traffic jams take place due to bad roads.

For the smooth flow of traffic patchwork of roads after a certain limit is necessary.
