Bangalore
The garden city, set dosa, the largest population Kannada speaking Tamils, Malleshwaram, MG, Kemp Fort, Software, no water, pubs, Vidhan Soudha, Vivesvaraya, spanking clean, sweet, relaxed, greatest weather. Techies who know the right rules to flirt. Silicon valley of India. But how MNCs, outsourcing and corporate culture is shaping the infrastructure of the city?

165 traffic signals to be upgraded

About 165 traffic signals in the city will be upgraded in the next three months as part of the Bangalore Traffic Improvement Project (B-TRAC).

The city police were considering the use of vehicle-activated systems at all traffic signals to help in the management of traffic, especially when vehicular movement is less. Use of a corridor synchronisation system at 10 important places was also being considered. The system, now experimented on J.C. Road, synchronised traffic signals in a corridor.
