Electronic signal systems in Millennium City
The traffic scenario in the Millennium City would soon cease to be chaotic, thanks to the recent initiatives of the civic administration.
In what can be termed as the first major step towards modernising the traffic management system and bringing order on the roads, the administration has begun installing electronic signalling systems on two major thoroughfares - Badambadi Square and Link Road Square. The solar operated signalling system at Badambadi is expected to be commissioned within a week, while the one at Link Road would be operational by mid-December. Quote:
