Lightbulb Pack your bags right before you hit the road

You don't want to go to a place and worry about an essential item at the weary hours of night.....do you?

To enjoy your journey pack light and right. Here are some tips:
  • Take a suitcase light weight and easy to carry.
  • Start with a checklist. Once you've assembled everything on the list, you may need to eliminate some things if there's too much to fit in the suitcase.
  • Place heavy items first, like , which you can fit in side-by-side. Choose your according to the season and the place you are visiting. Carry a good pair of walking and a pair of flip flops.
  • Another thing to put in first? "Wool fabrics because they're less likely to wrinkle."
  • Pack clothes that you can mix and match: like a pair of Jeans or a white shirt.
  • Pack lots of underwear....it's clever to take an extra pair.
  • Pack your toiletries, night cloths, medicines, emergency numbers and some money (in case you loose your wallet)
In your hand bag:
  • Make sure it has enough straps so you can carry it easily and it can survive the journey.
  • Your Passport, tickets, traveler's check, money and IDs : keep it safe and handy.
  • Maps, handouts and print-outs for needed info about the place you are heading to. Also, keep the numbers written in a chit so if your cell is out of service, broken or stolen you can dial in emergencies.
  • Carry your toiletries: at least toothpaste, brush, deo and a comb.
  • It is clever to carry a pair of undies and extra cloths so you don't have to suffer if your luggage is lost.
  • Pack your fav book, CDs, chewing gum and a bottle of water.
Now hit the road and enjoy your journey.. .

Greatttt Tipssssss....

I agree packing can be the most tidious task, especially when you haven't reserached enough and not planned out your activities while on your tour.

Like the tips say , ' always keep a check list', i do it all the time, it is THE most workable method to not forget to pack anything, unless you forgot to put it on the list:P

Oh ya, lotsof underwear. hehehe. Last december, just before new year, I went for a camp near Nashik where we stayed on a hill top in tents, minus bathrooms. We didnt take a bath for 7 days(sounds gross but when everyone stinks, it really dosen't matter ) there we had to carry so many underwear sets..heheh.
