Bhopal
Bhopal, impressive is the new city with its verdant, exquisitely laid out parks and gardens, broad avenues and streamlined modern edifices. The capital of Madhya Pradesh is a fascinating amalgam of scenic beauty, historicity and modern urban planning. But when it comes to city road and traffic, do we call this modern urban planning?

Thumbs up City gets Facelift

Bhopal is seeing a major facelift. Roads are being repaired and at various places traffic lights have been installed adding to safety of the commuters and also as a visual delight.....

But having said so, there are certain areas that still require traffic lights... For instance, Hoshangabad road near Habibganj Rly Station crossing, No 10 Stop and Bittan Market need traffic lights, since these are crowded areas. Also, the roads in Alkapuri, Saket Nagar and near proposed AIIMS Hospital need repairs and proper street lights.
