Road Safety India Indian Roads Traffic

Lucknow
Regarded as one of the finest cities of India, Lucknow represents a culture that combines emotional warmth, a high degree of sophistication, courtesy and a love for gracious living. Lucknow, 'the golden city of the east' is struggling to retain the old world charm with growing population and traffic chaos. Will the present day road condition and traffic plight of the city put the Nizams and Nawabs of yore at shame?

Nobody is above law BUT...

Nobody is above law BUT is it really true? Everyone knows that how VIPs (Politicians included) and their children, Celebrities etc escaped after violating traffic rules and accidents (and also in other cases not realted to traffic).

In an incident in Lucknow few months back few ruling party’s (in U.P.) supporters misbehaved with a senior police officer when he tried to stop their Jeep (because of illegal flashing red light on their Jeep) and they hanged that senior police cop on the bonnet of their Jeep and drive around 500 meters. Finally those guys were caught and presently they are in prison.

But in most cases (especially related to Traffic) such VIPs never get treatment by police.
