Chandigarh
Modern city. Le Corbusier. Nek chand. Kalpana Chawla. Shabir Bhatia. Kapil Dev. Wide straight roads. Landscaped roundabouts. No sector 13? Cricket stadium, Education mecca, engineering, art, fashion design, architecture. Girls zooming on two-wheelers. Univesity campuses. Rock garden, Rose garden, Sukhna Lake and beautiful view of the mountains. Mangoes, Amaltas, Bougainvilleas, Quiet. No nightlife. NO Traffic Jams! Is it really so?

Road safety week organized in Chandigarh

Chandigarh traffic has also become very bad and the cops and most of the roundabouts have been replaced with traffic lights. Even then, traffic seems to be getting out of hands.

I am glad the police is still taking some initiative. Chandigarh traffic police is pretty strict as compared to other cities. Gurgaon Police should probably take some lessons from CHD police.
