| Chandigarh Modern city. Le Corbusier. Nek chand. Kalpana Chawla. Shabir Bhatia. Kapil Dev. Wide straight roads. Landscaped roundabouts. No sector 13? Cricket stadium, Education mecca, engineering, art, fashion design, architecture. Girls zooming on two-wheelers. Univesity campuses. Rock garden, Rose garden, Sukhna Lake and beautiful view of the mountains. Mangoes, Amaltas, Bougainvilleas, Quiet. No nightlife. NO Traffic Jams! Is it really so? |

Mr Ratan Tata, Please contribute first to road safety
At the launch on the much awaited Tata Nano which is awaiting to swarm the Indian roads , i think, The Tatas have a moral duty of simultaneously investing towards improving road safety.
The big buisness houses have to take a joint standing and demand the Indian government to improve the safety standards . we cannot let 100,000 people die and 800,000 get maimed just because we cannot teach our folks to drive safely. Last edited by battav; 17-07-09 at 07:26 PM. |
