I am talking here about Public transport service in Noida mainly blue line buses commute between Delhi-Noida.

I would like to draw ur attention not towards the worse to worst getting traffic situation but towards the attitude ppl have n show while travelling, which is very much Indian in itself a few over aggressive n rest tolerant ?( Indian trademark) just mute spectators…

Though it is known that Buses, Cabs are a part of Public transport but moreover these are, very true owned by private individuals… Ply on the roads as if even the roads are their private property.

These private buses can stop in the mid of road, (GOD knows where are these Traffic wallas), bringing the traffic on halt.. As if only they are on the roads…to pick up a passenger they can stop anywhere n for unlimited time ( not bothering whether ppl are getting disturbed by this behavior of theirs)

See the contrast now, Can stop any where for picking a single passenger… But will not give the same passenger enough space to sit (forget it) not even to stand or time to get off the bus.

Conductors behave with the passengers as if they are taking us on a free ride. They shout, push , abuse the passengers as if one has made a big mistake by taking their bus n now are their prisoners n themselves take on the role of a jailor.

In case a passenger or two opposes this behavior, , whole bus will just behave like mute sheep n wait for this to happen with them…One thing I hate in Indians, they don’t get united in opposing such rowdies.

Any one who has travelled in these buses (plying in & out of noida), must have felt this pain coming out of the callous n rude behavior of BUS wallas.. , which is no less than a torture.

Is their WAY to get out of the mess?

If any bus driver or conductor misbehaves with any passenger in bus then it is the responsibility of all bus passengers to take joint action against him.

Absolutely right….Complaining to the police about such rude drivers and conductors will not be helpful b’coz police accept their special money package (hafta or maheenaa) form the bus owners and allowed him whatever they want to do. Just imagine what can happen with female, senior citizens and handicapped passengers in these buses?
