NH 8: Delhi-Jaipur Highway, Worst Way of Construction in Gurgaon

This note is for DS Constructions and their promoter, HS Narula. Shame on you Guys!

I reside in Ambience Island, Gurgaon and yet to come across such a highly mismanaged way of building a network of flyovers. Your company is not at all fit to build flyovers or be in this business.

People have been suffering from the last 2 years since the construction began. It’s not only the traffic congestion, but the irregular style of conducting the ongoing construction work.

1) First of all, there is no work carried on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday), or nights which infact is the best time to carry on the majority of the work.

2) The construction workers have created highly vulnerable accident prone areas by placing barricades that blind the drivers from either side of the road junctions.

3) One can see the heavy construction machinery (Caterpillars), and trucks moving during peak traffic hours that create more nuisance on the highway.

It seems that the Haryana government also takes no interest in the ongoing construction work and their Traffic Police has turned a blind eye to the daily woes of the people traveling on the highway.

Haryana government has proved that they have a pathetic style of functioning and have no control over other related authorities.

Traveling on poor Gurgaon roads seems to have become a living nightmare. There is no traffic sense being followed and I am sure all the new immigrants of Gurgaon must be regretting their decision of moving in this “Singapore” of India.
