Smile Main Sector Road: Gurgaon (Near Golf Course)

Main Sector Road, Sector 42, Gurgaon

We have many prestigious buildings and offices on this road and HUDA has even widened the road.

However there are a few issues that the authorities have continued to ignore.

1) No Traffic sense and continuous violation. One can find all these three-wheelers plying 2-3 times more people than their capacity. There is no Traffic Police to prevent this. One can also find people sitting on the bonnet and roofs of Jeeps, Buses and all sorts of other vehicles. If there is a flat space on the body of a vehicle, you will find someone sitting on top of it. This is a serious concern for other drivers using the road. What if some illiterate passenger falls down and comes in front of another driver? Well, that time, the Traffic Police will be the first ones to bite the bait.

2) Why do we have a Liquor store on an empty piece of ground? Just adjacent to the Golf course, we have this ugly Liquor store. One can find cab drivers and many others coming on to the wrong side of the road to buy liquor from this store. One fails to comprehend how these drivers adamantly drive on top speeds, signaling the other driver to watch his drive path. Then we also find all these cabs parked on the wrong side of the road outside the liquor store. Both HUDA and the traffic police needs to look into this and have this store closed and control the cab drivers.

Such scenes are also very common in other parts of NCR like NOIDA and Ghaziabad.

Traffic cops never take such issues seriously. In Gurgaon transportation facilities are not very good therefore during office hours people are forced to travel in such manner.

After seeing these pictures anyone can easily think that how below is the standard of Road safety in NCR...
