Horrific sweat, chappals, the 20 paisa (remember that?) Most Nobel laureattes of India. Salt Lake stadium, chaotic, poor, fleeting Communism afloat with hope. Livid theatre culture. But what about Roads and Traffic condition here - A Big Question Mark? |

Night Driving on highways
Recently Iwas Driving at night on national highway from calcutta to ranchi.Ihave been stopped for about an hour by WB police from a check post at LODHASULI on the reasoning that the road ahead is infested with dacoits & unless the return police jeep comes & sufficient numbers of vehecles lines up the check gate will not open.I wonder that by this action wheather a law abiding citizen is punished? If police knows the place where regular dacoity takes place instead of taking any steps there to stop such illlegal activities it is we thelawabiding ctizen are made to suffer.

Well rcbcal!!! This is police responsibility that they stop the vehicle in proper place
 one more thing Don't be late (police)...reach on time
