Mumbai
City of dreams. Economic capital. Movie Magic. Marine Drive, Gateway of India, Hotel Taj, Dombivili, Mulund, Bandra. Mount Mary for those who have faith in the almighty. The UNDERWORLD. The Mumbai nightlife. The city that lives by its train timings. Dharavi, Vashi, Dadar, Colaba, Bal Thackrey, bomb blasts, Prithvi Theatre, Bhel puri, neon lights, Ganesh Chathurti. Sachin’s Ferrari. What do you think of the traffic though?

Angry

The above mentioned incidents show that high profile persons in our country also have the license to drive their car anywhere. They think people sleeping on footpaths are insects not human being.

P.S. Nice Picture....

I can’t understand that why most cases of mows down the cars on pavements happen only in Mumbai? Why not in other cities? Recently I hear news on TV a speeding taxi mowed down the pavement last week.

As far as the incidents of driving cars on footpaths increased rapidly in Mumbai so I want to suggest that Mumbaikars should go through the similar driving test as it suggested in picture. It can save the lives of lots innocent human beings who sleep on the footpaths.

My Mood: Amused
There should be more strict laws to prevent such kind of happenings

wrong---for both.

Bombay is an important business hub of India. People resort to sleeping on pavements because they do not have anywhere else. Somebody (Govt or the rich crore-pathis) need to adress that issue. Pavements should be free and usable for public pedestrians 24/7.

Secondly,Why should anyone ever drive on a pavement???. Serious penalties should be given to such drivers in cases of injuries. I have set up website for compensation for such victims.
